Shea Butter Made In Ghana Project

Shea butter has been used for generations in Africa to keep skin young and healthy, remove stretch marks, and even to help babies sleep better.

Where Does Shea Butter Come From?
Shea butter is made from the nuts of the Karite tree in Africa. The nuts are cracked open, then roasted to give the butter a nice consistency.

A New Beginning!

A year or two ago, I met a soft-spoken lady. We began talking almost everyday, little did I know she was a praying warrior for the Lord. I told her one day, I have never related to another like we have. I came to the relization it was our destiny to connect. Since that day, we are the peanut-butter and jelly sandwich!lol We share bits and pieces of ourselves one day at a time.

The lady and I talk of going to africa together. She wants Egypt and I, Ghana. Funny thing, we have not met! What a beautiful relation we have formed.

I can't wait until we meet and where our new journey will take us. I do know we will build the sisterhood one by one with one goal in mind -- To help, teach, share, and love you in our own unique way. We will do this the way Our Almighty God has planned. There is no other way to walk in the beautiful light!

A New Journey

Gosh, so much has happened since my last post! Since my visit to Senegal in 2010, I have received many invitations to come to Africa.
I once was a member of SFI and their TripleClicks program getting sign ups and selling products on TripleClicks, the sales were good.
One of my referrals, Sebuhlor of Ghana, had such an amazing interest to succeed in the business, so much so, he gave me his ID and password to check his progress. I got banned for going beyond the called of a sponsor's duties and lost a little commission I earned, money from an order I filled, points, TCredits, and MRP's.
Sebuhlor was disheartened. The ban did not stop him from getting answers to his questions from me. That is what I call a true relationship.
One day, he asked, what other programs are you affiliate with? I gave him my link: http://adv.justbeenpaid.com/?r=wCwW8KNfkL&p=job. He joined and has several referrals! Little did I know he had joined some of my social networks too! He calls me his mentor/teacher and he, my diamond in the rough!
As time progressed, he told me of his journey as a teacher for an orphanage and how he hopes to help the little girls stay in school so they will not fall prey to older men and how sponsorship is badly needed. His dream does not stop there. Right then and there, I realized how we are similar in making a change in west africa!
Our relationship has grown into a business relationship. Here's the kicker, he trusted me so much that he and his pastor sent a barrel of shea butter on Nov. 1, 2011 to sell in the US. I had a time getting it released to me dealing with delta cargo and US customs. I got it on Dec. 15, 2011 which is a far cry from Nov. 21 shipment ready for pickup date.
The plan is to sell the shea butter and kente cloth here: http://www.tripleclicks.com/11514662 and yes, his tripleclicks affiliate account and my home. The shea butter will be in two forms original and whipped in various sizes.
We hope to provide a three village solution and our travel to one anothers country at least every six months. Who knows, maybe a trip for the kids to the US and US kids to there.
One big reason for all sisters around the world to Unite!

Grand Mosque of Touba, Senegal

OMG!

Just a few moments ago, I was on facebook where I visited a page of

West Africa tours. The scenery, the people, and the sounds on

this video http://youtu.be/J3znLqnL-LU were the same while

en route to the guest house where I stayed in 2010!

This video is better than my video I posted earlier on this blog. Better yet,

you could say I gave you the up and close personal view!

***It's 2012, I just found out -- The département of Dakar is divided into four arrondissements: Almadies, Grand Dakar, Parcelles Assainies (which literally means "drained lots"; this is the most populous arrondissement of Dakar), and Plateau/Gorée (downtown Dakar). I was in Parcelles Assainies!

I've Been Told, Go To The White House!!!

One night I was watching TBN, a comedian, Michael Jr., came on talking about his mission in life. His life mission is to make people laugh by telling his experiences involving the church in his early days. I remember him saying, God has two names and his other name is 'Something!'

OMG, here I am thinking of my return to Dakar, Senegal to continue with my mission and renewing friendships. Then all of a sudden, 'Something' tells me to go to the White House and pray! I reason in my mind thinking, 'why doesn't TBN go?' An answer came to me on a particular night, TBN came on showing a rebroadcast of yesteryear when TBN did exactly that ... they went to the White House and prayed, shared testimonies, fellowshipped, etc!

Yes, I do talk to my Lord Jesus and told him, Lord you know I know nothing about Washington, DC, never been, no sense of direction, don't have any money to get there, etc.

Mind you now, I had not spoken to my cousin about 'Something' telling me to go to Washington. I received an email from her the next day after talking to My Lord. The email:
Fw: GASTON: Bus fare from Charlotte to D.C. for $1 - one company doing it ‏4/15/11 http://www.gastongazette.com/news/one-56734-bus-charlotte.html

As you can tell from the date of the Email, I have been thinking!!!! God is telling me something, yall!!! I must go and do his bidding, if I want to be Favored and Blessed for him to send me on my mission in Dakar.

TBN did it for a day and I shall follow same. I will pray and hope to walk around the circumference of The White House. With all my disabilities, I know my help will come from The Lord -- Faith, Trust, Belief-- it shall and must be done! Amen!!!

Stay tuned for announcement date here. God Loves You & So Do I!

I arrived at the City of Gastonia, NC transit station. Two guys were fighting, a little voice told me to Do Something because one or both could have seriously been injured. I heard myself call out to them to stop fighting, there is enough of us in prison...I repeated and the fight ceased. Each went in separate direction. The coming in my direction said, 'thank you Miss.'
